Patrick quit his IT career in 2008 after a decade to pursue his passion for online sports journalism. His dedication to football led to his recognition as one of the Top 40 Under 40 professionals in 2012.
Beginning as a content writer in 2005, Patrick later emerged as the founder of prominent soccer platforms in Kenya. He transitioned into punditry within the country, collaborating with leading TV and radio stations from 2012 onward. Subsequently, he assumed the role of a researcher and archivist, specializing in local football statistics.
Since 2010, Patrick has actively organized corporate tournaments. In March 2019, he embarked on a new journey by taking on the role of CEO at Nairobi City Stars.
